Translink, with support from the Rural Transport Fund scheme, have released the dates for their 2015 Mourne and Causeway Coast Rambler Services.
These bus services operate along the scenic North Coast and through the rugged terrain of the Mourne Mountains so you can enjoy some of the most varied and interesting walking in Northern Ireland. With multiple stops along the Causeway Coast and the more remote areas of the Mourne Mountains they are a great way to explore some of the linear routes in the area.
The Causeway Rambler is currently operating with a limited timetable, Monday – Sunday until 31st May, with a full summer timetable commencing 1st June – 27th September, Monday – Sunday including bank and public holidays. Cost for an all day hopper ticket is £6.50 per Adult and £3.25 per child.
The Mourne Rambler service will commence from Monday 4th May 2015 and will operate a full summer timetable Tuesday – Sunday including bank and public holidays until 31st August 2015. Cost for an all-day rambler ticket is £7 per adult and £3.50 per child.
The Mourne Lodge in Attical is offering Mourne Rambler passengers a complimentary cup of coffee on presentation of a valid bus ticket so be sure to call in for a cuppa if you’re passing by!
