As part of the wildfire prevention plan for the Eastern Mournes prescribed burning will be taking place at Bloody Bridge on the route up to the Mourne Wall during the following dates

Monday 7th March until Thursday 24th March

and

Monday 4th April until Tuesday 12th April

Routes will not be closed, but there may be delays while a particular action is carried out, and there will be marshals providing information on site.

Mourne Heritage Trust encourage walkers to be careful in this area during this time and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
