National Day Walk – well attended.
We all met at Crawfordsburn Country Park at 11.00 were Simon Reardon (Administrator and organiser) welcomed everyone to the day’s walk to Grey’s Point. Alan McFarland, Chairman of UFRC, outline the working of UFRC and generally to let everyone know that we exist. Simon then lead the walk along a great coastline looking out to the sea. At Grey’s Point, we met Maurice for NIEA (Northern Ireland Environmental Agency) who gave a great talk about the Guns and the history of the protection of the Antrim Coast during WW2.
