OPPORTUNITY – ADMINISTRATOR

Are you dependable, enthusiastic and can work on average 8 hours per week? An opportunity has arisen for someone to work in a self-employed capacity to provide administrative services for the Ulster Federation of Rambling Clubs.

What will you be doing?

You will work with the UFRC’s Executive Committee to provide general administrative support including minute taking, booking rooms, and liaising with member clubs which will include lodging cheques for affiliation to UFRC and insurance fees. You will also assist in handling correspondence and updating the website.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable individual who has the necessary skills and experience that include:

  • Relevant computer skills including experience of using Word, Excel and website updating
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • While not essential, an interest in the outdoors would be an advantage.

What do we offer?

The services will be required from the end of October 2016 and will be reviewed annually. The appointed person will be self-employed and work from home. A service fee of £300 per month will be paid which will include travel expenses to and from Committee meetings. The appointee will be responsible for their own tax affairs and returns.
