King Johns Woods Holywood – Right of Way dispute.

Posted on February 25th, 2014 · Posted in Latest News

King John’s walk Public Right of Way Holywood. More good news regarding excess.  This path has been in dispute for some time, and went through the court recently.  Our representative, Eileen Carson is very pleased to inform that the court has found in Councils favour, and has made a declaration that a public right of way lies over the disputed route.
The farmer in question has been ordered to remove the gates, and earth embankments etc currently interfering with the public right of way. Our great full thanks to North Down Council and especially to  Andrew Muir (Mayor of North Down)   We appreciated his help very much.
