Location: Mourne Mountains, Co. Down. Starting and finishing at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre
Length of Walk: The total walk is 9km
Number of Spaces: Spaces limited to 12 people and expected to fill up fast. Places should be reserved no later than Friday 15th September.
Your are invited to join Mourne Ramblers for their Invitation Walk in the Mourne Mountains and experience for yourself what it is like to walk with a group. Specially tailored to suit both complete newcomers to hill walking and those already active mountain walkers the group will be a great opportunity for you to find out more about the club and the types of walks they offer each Sunday.
This event is part of the Ulster Federation of Rambling Clubs (UFRC) Open Weekend.
What to bring: Warm clothes, hill walking boots, waterproofs, backpack with packed lunch and water.
Suitability: The walk is suitable for adults aged 18+ with a good level of personal fitness is essential as the walk will take place in the mountains over rough ground which can be wet/muddy.
