The UFRC AGM was recently held on Saturday 14th October in Castlewellan Forest Park.
The event organised by UFRC and hosted by Spartan Red Sox Walking Club was well attended by a large number of club representatives from across Northern Ireland.

Following lunch the group took a walk along the forests Slievenaslat trail which from the highest point offers a spectacular viewpoint of the Mourne Mountains.
Reflecting on the AGM UFRC Active Clubs Coordinator Claire Saunders said, “...So much has happened in the last year! This year the federation celebrated the success of our first Spring Gathering in Greenmount and recently the success of the UFRC Open Weekend where clubs opened their walks to potential new members. We look forward to this next season of walking and the exciting calendar of training opportunities and events.”
