On Saturday 3rd March 2018 the UFRC held their second Spring Gathering at Greenmount College, Co. Antrim.
Despite the snow 87 people attended and enjoyed a morning of inspirational talks by Presenter & Explorer Dermot Somers & Murrough McDonagh CEO of Mountaineering Ireland.
Following lunch the delegates took part in a series of workshops in First Aid, Intermediate Navigation, GPS, Keeping Safe In The Hills and Long Distance Walks each designed to develop our members skills and confidence in the hills.
