The Ulster Federation of Rambling Clubs Committee invite you to attend the first UFRC Spring Gathering to be held in Greenmount College, Co. Antrim on Saturday 4th March 2017.
An inspirational talk will be made by Hannah Shields, the first Irish woman to summit Mt. Everest in 2007. Find out more about her in her interview with WalkNI- ‘The Iron Lady’. Following lunch the Committee have arranged a number of action packed workshops for you to choose from.

Afternoon Workshops:
There will be 4 workshops to choose from. To help plan for numbers it is essential that you select 1 interactive workshop to attend in the afternoon.
Workshop 1: Promoting and marketing your club (1.5hrs) & Beyond the Compass- New Technologies (1.5hrs)
FULLY BOOKED! Workshop 2: Keeping safe if things go wrong on the hill (1.5hrs) & Geocaching (1.5hrs)
Workshop 3: Introduction to Navigation (3hrs)
Workshop 4: First Aid (3hrs)
The Geocaching session of Workshop 2 is now FULLY BOOKED however, there are still places available on Workshops 1, 3 & 4.
Those who are keen to hear from North West Mountain Rescue Team will be able to do so before moving to the 2nd session of Workshop 1 ‘Beyond The Compass- New Technologies’ by Cotswold Outdoor Belfast. Please select Workshop 1 & 2 in the booking form to do so.
