Welcome Walk with Spartan Red Sox (UFRC Open Weekend 2018)

Enjoy a welcome and a walk with Spartan Red Sox in the spectacular Mourne Mountains.

  • Saturday 29th September 2018
  • Meet at Ott Car Park, Slieve na mann Road, Co. Down
  • 10:30am to 4:30pm (approx.)

As part of this years UFRC Open weekend Spartan Red Sox Walking Group are inviting 8 guests to join them for a Welcome Walk on Saturday 29th September 2018.

The walk will follow a 11km route through the scenic Mournes. Crossing over the saddle between Slieve Lough Shannagh and Carn. The group will continue onto Doan where with clear weather there is a clear view of the whole of the eastern Mournes.

What to wear:
 Warm clothes, Hill walking boots, waterproofs, backpack with packed lunch, hot drink and water.

Suitability:
 Aged 18+ yrs.You should have reasonable fitness levels to take part in this walk.
